My device shows no maps found. What can I do? (TomTom HOME)

Updated: 15/04/2013 10.22 PM

The No maps found error can occur if your device either has no map installed or the map is not readable. To resolve this, download your map again if you are still able to, or restore your map from a backup.

You can still download your map if one of the following conditions apply:

  • You have purchased a downloadable map or a Map Update Service within the last 12 months
  • or
  • You are within your Latest map guarantee period (typically 30 days from the first use of your device)

If one of the above is true then you will be able to download your map again. [ show me how... ]

If you do not have a map to download, you can restore your map from a backup. [ show me how... ]

MyDrive Connect or TomTom HOME?

To update your navigation device, you need to use either MyDrive Connect or TomTom HOME. To check which of the two programs you need to install in order to update your device, go to What software do I need to update my device?
