What should I know before downloading updates?

Updated: 08/01/2014 02.58 AM

We recommend taking the following into consideration before downloading any large updates, for example a new map.

  • A wired internet connection is generally faster and more stable, in general. more
  • Download times depend on the size of the update as well as the internet connection speed at your location. more
  • Security software and hardware can cause a failed download and/or installation. more
