Resetting or recovering your TomTom account password

Things to note

  • The link in the password reset email expires after 3 hours, so after this time you need to request a new password reset link.
  • If the link from the email does not work, try marking the link text and copying it into the address bar of your browser.
  • If you have not received a password reset email, make sure that you have used the email address you have registered with TomTom, and check your spam folder.
  • Your password needs to be between 6 and 32 characters long. Accepted values are letters, numbers, spaces and the following special characters: !"#$%&'()*+,-./:;<=>?@[\]^_`{|}~
  • If you are logged in to any devices with your TomTom account you need to log in again with your new password.
