Why can’t the Bandit mobile app connect to my Samsung mobile device?

Samsung mobile devices have a Smart Network switch that can be found in the Wi-Fi® settings. When turned on, the phone switches to using mobile data if the connected Wi-Fi® network doesn’t have internet access. This causes the smartphone to disconnect from the camera Wi-Fi® as it is only used for streaming content rather than providing an internet connection.

To resolve this, turn the Smart Network switch off on your Samsung device. The connection between the smartphone and the camera will remain allowing full use of the Bandit mobile app.
