My device is connected to the computer, but nothing happens.

You need to have MyDrive Connect installed on your computer in order to communicate with your device. If you do not have MyDrive Connect installed, see How do I install MyDrive Connect on my computer?

Make sure that your navigation device is connected

Click the MyDrive Connect icon (Image or Image or Image) in the Windows notification area or Apple menu bar. A small window pops up. Your navigation device should be shown as Connected at the top of this window.


If your navigation device shows as not connected, check the connection between your navigation device and your computer. more

Make sure MyDrive Connect recognises your device

If you see a screen in MyDrive Connect, asking you to connect your device when it's already connected, this means your device is not recognised.

If you see one of the error messages "Error: Port 4000 is not available" or "MyDrive Connect cannot use the web connector port", you must change the port setting.  more
