Why is my GPS Sports watch not working with the MySports mobile app?

Version 1.6.12 for the TomTom GPS Sport watch introduces support for the MySport mobile app for iOS devices.

When you are not able to connect to the mobile app, you probably updated your watch using an outdated version of TomTom MySports Connect. Follow these steps:

  1. Make sure that you have version 1.2.0 or higher of MySports Connect on your computer:

    Windows: Click the watch icon in the notification area at the bottom right of your desktop and click Settings. The version is listed on the About tab.

    Mac: Click the watch icon in the status bar at the top right of your desktop and click Settings. The version is listed on the About tab.

    If you don't have the latest version installed, click the link next to the version to update MySports Connect.

  2. Connect your watch to the computer and wait for TomTom MySports Connect to start.

    My Sports Connect starts transferring data.

  3. With the watch still in the dock, press the down-button and keep it pressed.

  4. Disconnect the dock from the USB port while you keep holding the down-button.

    Wait until your watch shows a watch connected to a computer along with the link tomtom.com/reset. This takes at least 20 seconds.

  5. Release the button and reconnect the dock to the computer.

  6. In MySports Connect, click Update.
