How can I stop the TomTom App for iPhone crashing at startup?

If your TomTom Navigation app for iPhone/iPad crashes when you try to start it, do each of the following steps to resolve the issue. Try to start the Navigation app after each step.

  1. Restart your iOS device.
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Then release both buttons and wait for your iOS device to restart.

  2. Check the regional settings on your iOS device.
    In the iOS Settings app, tap General. Tap International then Region Format. Make sure your country is selected.

  3. Make sure your iOS device is using the latest version of iOS.
    Connect your iOS device to iTunes and check if a new version of iOS is available. If a new version is available, install it.
